I am Selvi , born in Turkey in 1970, married since 1987 and mother of two wonderful children. I grew up in a Muslim home. My journey to Jesus began after a cerebral infarction and subsequent misdiagnoses. My organs failed and I was confined to bed and had to take a lot of medication. In this dark moment, a dear nurse gave me a Bible and told me about her faith in Jesus.

This woman of God brought blessing into my life. However, I no longer wanted to live at that time. I read the Bible from time to time, but didn’t really understand who Jesus was. Nevertheless, I began to cry out for him in my heart, silently and still ignorant. One day, a man appeared in a dream. In the dream, I was sitting on a stool and this man was pouring water over my head. I asked in astonishment, knowing that this was a divine dream: “Are you Mohammed?” He shook his head and, with his eyebrows furrowed, told me that he was not Mohammed. He looked deep into my eyes and said: “You will be healed through me!”
In my mind I heard at that moment that this was Jesus and I said to him: “Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!”

When I woke up from this dream, I was suddenly able to speak a different language that I didn’t know or understand myself. At first I thought this was from a previous life :-), but later I learned in a church that this was the prayer in tongues through the Holy Spirit, which is reported in Acts 2.

In this dream, I already said “yes” to him in my heart. He anointed me with the Holy Spirit and led me on the path of healing and revelation.

A few days later, I went into town with my husband. We passed a boutique and suddenly an inner voice spoke to me that I would soon be working in this boutique and would even take over the business three months later. I immediately told my husband, who was completely surprised and replied: “How is that possible? You’re still so ill!”

However, from that moment on, I felt better day by day.
About a month later, I was back in town and saw that this store was looking for a temp. I went in and was immediately hired. It soon turned out that one of my colleagues was a Christian – my dear sister Nathalie. She told me that she went to a church where, among other things, prayers were said for the sick. This was my first visit to a Christian church. On my first visit, there was a healing service led by a guest preacher. He prayed for me and I fell to the ground under the power of God. I clearly felt the Holy Spirit in me.

I then “officially” gave my life to Jesus and was baptized in water and in the Spirit. This decision for Jesus was associated with many challenges. The church stood faithfully by my side for years during this process. There were always many uncertainties, fears and questions, but God often spoke to me, taking away my uncertainties over time and strengthening me in my faith.

Since then, the Holy Spirit has spoken to me through the word of God, dreams and visions.
Throughout this process, I was able to get to know God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
In this school of the Holy Spirit, God trained me in my calling and my gifts.

Among other things, the many illnesses prevented me from becoming pregnant. Despite therapies and artificial insemination, no pregnancy had been achieved. Worldly medical treatments had not been successful. And so I prayed to Jesus and asked for a child. That evening, I heard from God about a birthmark on our employee’s back. I said in amazement: “Lord, I asked you for a child, so why are you showing me a birthmark?” However, the voice repeated this three times. Then I gave in and said that I would ask the employee about it.

The next day, I asked her about the birthmark. She was startled and asked, “Have you seen me naked?” I said, “No, but God.” At that moment, I understood that God knows every detail of our lives and our prayers and that it was not yet time for a child.
As a result, I stopped all medical therapies and trusted God for His timing for a child

Months later I had another dream: I saw many angels standing in a circle and Jesus was standing in the middle. He had a baby in the palm of his hand, a boy. And he said: “Through me you will have him.”

A few months after this dream, the dosage of the medication was reduced to see how the body would react. At the next check-up, the doctors told me that I was cured and pregnant!
I give God all the glory for this great miracle!

I have since been blessed through various ministries, especially in my home church and in prophetic schools. In many ministries I have been able to contribute with the gifts of the Holy Spirit that God has given me.

The words from John 14.6-7 are deeply engraved in my heart:

“Jesus said to him:

I am the way and the truth and the life;
No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you have recognized me, you will also recognize my Father.
And from now on you know him and have seen him.”

Jesus is my truth and my life, and I follow his path.

Pastor Surprise Sithole embodies the Father heart of God for me, full of love and humility. His joy for Christ is contagious and changes the atmosphere. Pastor Surprise was the first one to prophesy the ministry to me. Thank you for all the prophetic impressions and prayers that have enriched my life. Pastor Edith and Pastor Karl Vuuren have also blessed me abundantly through their prophetic impressions and prayers. Everyone can come to their divine table and be showered with spiritual nourishment. I especially thank my friend Nora Ashram, a prophetess of God, for being by my side with all her support.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to all the brothers and sisters from the “Prophetic Table”, where I was able to serve and grow. I thank Almira for her tireless commitment.

Apostle John Sageo from the NIC (New Interenational Church) in Switzerland has played a significant role in my personal breakthrough. His ministry, his love for the body of Jesus and the Prophetic School have blessed me in all areas of my life. His prayers and prophetic impressions have helped me overcome obstacles and grow. I have been richly blessed through his teaching and preaching. I can’t thank him enough for all his support.
